My first time roasting the SIDRA variety - I knew this was going to be fruit forward - but this is a wildly good (washed) coffee. 

BURSTING JUICY TROPICALS // Pineapple, Melon, Mixed Florals

One of the most vibrant and expressive cups I've had // the bursting, juicy, tropical rounded sweetness, combining with the crisp, clean washed coffee finish, makes for an almost REFRESHING finish. 

Roasted as a filter coffee // truly great. 

I travelled to Brussels this year to WORLD OF COFFEE 2026 - With me, I brought this coffee to showcase. I arrived at the Semilla stand where I was to jump on and brew for a few hours - & low and behold, I met Karol herself, who was thrilled to see this coffee showcased at such an event.

Amazing work by Semilla importing this coffee, through their Monkaaba Project // With which Karol has played a huge part in establishing, making it possible for smallholder producers to taste, improve and ultimately, get paid more, for their coffees.
